Had emceeing responsibilities at church this morning. Helped youth group clean up after lunch. There was also a baptism ceremony, with two of the youth — Annalicia and Daryl — getting baptized. Rested and did some work at home in the afternoon, and then played board games with acacia folk in the evening at Luke’s house.

Went to prestudy in the morning at emmans. Joyce is in socal visiting elizabeth, so we men had a simpler breakfast (still great, though). Did some work in the afternoon, and then went and balled with lawrence, billy, and matt for a couple of hours. Picked up hunan on the way home, and then had dinner with guests over (family friends).

For youth group, billy showed a viral spoken word video, and then we broke up into stations to discuss the points.

Played some bball with my ballin buddy team after work. Waited about an hour to an hour and a half just to play our first game. Was pretty crowded. We only won three of four games today before losing. Went out to eat dinner together afterward. Ate at Tommy J’s. Twas KJ’s and Charle’s first times there. The burgers were good, but a couple of us were still hungry afterward.

Went to ball at 5pm with my buddies before small group. Balling went long, and we ended up eating out at old teahouse afterward, so I missed the small group potluck and icebreakers. Got the baked pineapple and prawns over rice (I think it’s #43 on the menu). It was quite good, and they give you a lot of food for $7.75.

Went and watched the second episode of sherlock at 9pm with joe and jess. It wasn’t as good as the first episode, but was still pretty interesting. I’m still not sure I like their choice of actor for holmes, though. Grabbed some carls jrs for myself and my brother on the way home. Got a six dollar memphis burger. Was tasty, but the size wasn’t worth the money.

IM volleyball has ended, so for these last few weeks of the quarter we can go ball on mondays, wednesdays, and fridays without having to worry about there only being a single court. There were 3 courts today, but not very many people (which is good and bad). During one of our games, one of the light coverings overhead popped off and shattered all over the ground with a really loud noise.

Everyone was startled, and the game was paused for a moment while we gawked at how close it had come to hitting a girl that was shooting around there.

We ended up winning three out of four games, and left after the fourth (two hours after arriving).

From there, we went to the grad to eat and watch the conclusion of the redskins versus giants game.

Had community helping and emceeing duties this morning. Helped with an improve children’s worship skit after service. Billy and ditha didn’t know that rhythm was up this week, so they pulled people together and did an impromptu skit, telling the story of the first Christmas. Lawrence was one of the sheep.

Watched some 9ers and did some work in the afternoon.

At 5pm, I went over to ditha’s parent’s place to join some other acacia folk in surprising her for her birthday today.

Everyone went to mikuni sushi to eat dinner. I hung out with them for a bit, but left at 7 to go eat hotpot with my bball buddies at kalai’s place.

We filled ourselves with meat while watching the lakers lose to the magic.

We didn’t have prestudy in the morning since there wasn’t rhythm at night. Went and checked out the condo I’m trying to buy over in wildhorse condominiums. Met with the owner, and look at the washing machine, dryer, and fridge that are currently there (might buy them from him). I’m still waiting for the second loan to approve the short sale.

Went to a going away potluck for PG in the evening. Started at 5 (did sound for worship practice). After eating, we gathered together in the sanctuary for worship, sharing, and prayer.

Stayed up until 3am last night writing a review for the Fujifilm X-E1. Had a decent work day. Found out yesterday that the first loan’s bank had given an approval on the short sale I’m trying to snag. I’m just waiting for the second bank now. Went and balled at 5. It wasn’t until 6:30 that we got to play our first game. We had our full team, though, and ended up winning quite a few in a row.

We played until I was too exhausted to run anymore.
