I’m addicted to chinese restaurant eggplant dishes, so recently I found a couple recipes online in an attempt to learn how to make the dishes myself. Made “Spicy Szechuan Eggplant” for dinner tonight. It turned out okay, but was more like a beef/shrimp dish than an eggplant one.

Perhaps I let it simmer too long… It also wasn’t the kind of dish I was looking for. Next time I order it from a chinese place, I’ll be sure to note the name exactly.

I also started making grilled cheese sandwiches for myself and my bro starting last night. They’re pretty good — a great late night snack, but I’m pretty sure that’s super unhealthy.

Might be buying a 35mm f/1.4 lens tomorrow. Meeting a seller from sac in the afternoon at a place near my house.
