Was feeling pretty dang tired and exhausted today after this past week of vbs. I need to start catching up on sleep starting tomorrow night. Went to rhythm staff prestudy at emman’s this morning where we had breakfast together then quickly went over the bible study. Went home and rested afterwards, and worked on the vbs slideshow for the three services tomorrow.

At around 3 I went over to redrum burger’s parking lot and met up with a person who contacted me through craigslist regarding the 5d I’m selling. Went and sold my 5D for 990, the same price I paid for the newer one I bought recently, so I pretty much got a free upgrade (to a less used camera) and 6GB of free memory.

I calculated some numbers on my spreadsheet today, and found that if I sold all the DSLR gear I have right now, I’ll be back to having spent 0 on photo gear since my first DSLR (a canon 20D) I got out of high school from best buy. Most of the time I’ve sold gear for more than I’ve paid for after using it for a while, and most of the gear I have now I could sell for more than I paid for — even the stuff I bought years ago. If you’re looking to get into photography, don’t buy new from retail stores. Look for good deals on craigslist.

Went to church around 6, getting to worship practice a bit late. Emman is leading this weekend (we’re doing tomorrow’s worship also) since I’ve been busy with VBS photo stuff. I’m just going to be singing on the team tomorrow morning instead of leading it.

For our Bible study we went over acts 13 in our normal small groups (not mixed ones like we did for the past few weeks).
