Worked hard during the day but didn’t get as much done as I wanted to. Got a haircut in the afternoon and then rushed to get everything packed up an hour before having to head out for the acacia retreat. Met up with rob and my car at rob’s place, and then met up with other cars at maggie’s place for our caravan.

From there we drove to travis air force base to pick up frank, and stopped at a chipotle in fairfield for dinner. After seeing how packed the chipotle was, we decided to eat at the afghan restaurant next door. I got chicken tikka masala and rice.

The rest of the drive went pretty smoothly. Our car (driven by rob) broke off from the caravan and got to the hostel independently using Rob’s android phone’s GPS.

After arriving we had some worship led by clare, and then dispered for the evening. George, joseph, rob, dave g. and I lived in the main hostel building away from the bunk house that most of the guys and girls lived in. Our advantage was that we lived right next to the kitchen so we could always get water or food when needed.
