Got excused from prestudy today to go watch tiff’s lacrosse game at aggie stadium. When I got there I couldn’t find anyone I knew in the stands, but after standing for a bit I saw jeff walk in. After a little while longer tiff w., rebecca, and brandon also came. Finally, her mom came from parking the car.

They played UCSB, the best team on their schedule, but ended up playing pretty well and might have won had time not been the limiting factor.

Went to eat with some of them after at sushi nobu. The “younger people” got lunch buffet while tiff’s mom and I didn’t (she got a bento box while I ate a teryaki chicken plate).

Spent the rest of the afternoon listening to a sermon, taking a walk with my mom, and prepping for worship.

For worship tonight we did beautiful by phil wickham and I can only imagine. Yingnan led us in a creative game called Carrottown, where everyone’s a carrot running away from a rabbit, and everyone the rabbit tags becomes a rabbit. Was pretty hectic, and the difficulty level for the carrots increased exponentially.

John y. led the lesson tonight on the discipline of celebration, the last chapter of the book celebration of discipline.

For small group we had an hour since john’s lesson wasn’t too long. We spent the first half talking with the older guys, and then for the rest of the time we walked across the street and hung out at old teahouse.
