Woke up at 7:30 and quickly had some breakfast before picking up mandy at 7:45 and arriving at church at 8am to do worship practice. Worship went pretty smoothly today during english service (PTL!). Was communion sunday so we had a shorter set. During english sunday school the burma and mexico mission teams did sharings.

Rhythm had cleanup duty after lunch.

At 3pm, we met at sam’s house for a surprise birthday party with a lot of rhythmers. Sam was shopping downtop with friends, and her dad and I drove two cars to pick her and her friends up. Her dad picked her up first, and we drove in after had left to secretly pick up the remaining friends. It was then a race to get to her house before her car to not miss out on the surprise.

A couple turns before sams house, we ran into the other car, just a few seconds slower than us, coming from the other direction. We quickly drove to her house, and had everyone in my car (cindy included) run out and into the house, while I went to park the car and hide. Sitting in my car a little ways down the block, I suddenly saw sam’s car turn into the street behind me, so I immediately ducked my head to my knees as they drove by on the left.

I then got out of the car and walked in a little after I heard the “SURPRISE!”.

Happy birthday Sam!

Giants won their division today, eliminating the Padres. Onto the playoffs!
