Spent the morning working, and then set out at 12:30 with joe on our trip to the bay area to visit our college buddies. We stopped at uc berkeley first, where I went to sproul hall and picked up my masters diploma. We then drove south to Union city, where we had an indoor sky diving reservation at iFly at 4pm.

Joseph bought a pack of coupons back when he worked at AECOM, so we each paid $20 for 2 minutes of “sky diving”. It’s basically a giant tube that you step into and float around in. The expert instructors were doing all sorts of crazy tricks, but for our 1 minute sessions all we did was float about six feet off the ground and try to stay stabile.

After we were done, we hung out and read at borders for a while, and then had dinner at texas roadhouse.

Finally, our peers started getting off work, and we went to prayer meeting in berkeley to join them. Before walking to first pres, we first stopped by the tennis courts for joe to see his old club teammates again. We borrowed a couple racquets and played another duo a tiebreaker while joe was in jeans and I was barefoot. Ended up winning. Huzzah.

Afterward we met with some of them at northloop. Wrestled nathan after we got back to their house. We were all pretty tired, so we didn’t talk too much before heading off to bed.
