Rhythm spent the afternoon at the ice skating rink in vacaville. It’s strange how going in a circle on ice for hours on end can be so fun. By the end we were all pretty exhausted, sore, and (some of us) scraped up. The guys were a lot more reckless, playing around with the learning chairs and trying to tag each other while skating fast.

One stupid thing I tried was sitting on one of the chairs after pushing it to a pretty fast speed. It slipped from under me, and my chin went crashing into the ice. Had to buy some neosporin after getting back to davis. Haha.

Had dinner afterwards at Costco, where we also sang happy birthday to cindy.

Praise God for a pretty safe and fun outing.

Riley took many of the photographs in the post today. He had my camera on the outside of the rink since he doesn’t enjoy skating.
