Marissa Mayer November 17, 2009

The special speaker for my entrepreneurial seminar tonight was Marissa Mayer, a very important person within Google. Though she was about half an hour late to the one hour class, the talk was very interesting. She was at Stanford doing her MS at the same time Google’s cofounders were on the 4th floor doing their PhD.
In the evening wei wei and ditha came over for dinner. We enjoyed some cheeseboard pizza that wei wei bought for us, and also these mushroom slice things that ditha prepared in our kitchen.
Ditha was planning to cook the entire dinner herself for us, but things ran late today and they had to go to prayer meeting at 7:30.
Wei wei’s back for a few months from her mission work in the philippines.
My CS 262 midterm was released at about noon. I worked on it some between classes and for the rest of the evening after dinner.
It’s pretty long… I only got through about 1/5 of it after working as much as I could today.
