Phone Smashed June 28, 2009

Spent the morning with the scholars church retreat at our DL bliss campsite, and then went to watch my brother’s soccer game. His team lost the game, but was able to win 2nd place in the tournament overall. Over the weekend, my phone started having issues, then finally wouldn’t turn on at all. Bleh.

Early in the weekend, my phone would randomly freeze at times, and I would have to restart it. It started freezing faster and faster, until finally it would freeze at the bootup screen.

I discovered that if I bend the phone at the middle in a certain way, it would function properly, so it seems like there’s some connection issue inside.

When I got home, I took the phone apart and looked for anything that might be the cause, but after tightening some things and putting some electrical tape over some naked wire, it still wouldn’t work. Finally, I gave up.

RIP phone. I enjoyed the 4+ years I had you.

After the game, before heading back to davis, we watched the Brazil vs USA match at Sam’s Place (the place we had dinner last night). It was a heartbreaker.
