Gregoires Takeout May 14, 2009

For lunch, some of my buddies and I went to Gregoires Takeout on northside to celebrate Aaron’s 22nd birthday. It’s a tiny little place with only two little tables right outside for seating. I got a salmon sandwich, which turned out to be really good. There were also these potato ball things that were delicious.
After aaron ordered his sandwich, sean lit the cake that some of the guys had bought. He was planning to bring it out as soon as aaron walked out, but aaron changed his mind about something and decided to order a couple more things.
Sean ended up waiting until the candles had pretty much completely burned away before rushing through the door and starting off the happy birthday song. Hah.
By the time aaron blew the candles out, the only thing that remained of the candles were little wicks sticking out from the middles of black wax craters.
Watched “star wars – a new hope” with some of the guys in the afternoon before dustin rushed off to the airport to spend a few days at home (and interview for teach for america placement).
Started studying seriously in the evening for my anthropology final exam next monday. It’s pass/nopass, so I don’t feel too much pressure. However, I need to pass this class to graduate, so I’m definitely not slacking either.
Happy birthday aaron!
