Had my first anthropology midterm today. It was an essay test, and I think I did well enough considering I’m taking it pass no pass. After manning the Y in the afternoon, we had G-Live singing sessions in groups of about 7 starting from 4:30 at the Y. They were trying to gauge the singing ability of our class.

Emily kim organized the sessions, and we were given three songs (including aladdin and mulan) to sing. After singing all together, some of us were told to be quiet while they listened to others sing in smaller groups, or even solo. It was kinda awkward, hilarious, and exciting all at the same time.

At 8pm tonight my soccer team (defenestraters) had our first game. We ended up beating the fear agents 5-1.

At 11pm, the staff in dana house called us together for a house meeting, and it seemed like they were going to rebuke, scold, or lecture us about something, but suddenly allen burst through the door with a bag of nation pies. They were pretending it was going to be a meeting about something bad, but instead surprised us because the first waves of midterms arrived this week.

I spent a lot of time today working on my operating systems project. It’s a pretty massive project due next tuesday, and our initial design document and review didn’t go very well.
