Din And Gifts December 8, 2008

Attended my final software engineering lecture today. After the team four presented their recap of the semester presentation, professor sen gave a short lecture on additional engineering techniques. In entrepreneurship, the second half of the teams gave their final business plan presentations for two hours.

Tommy and I left the class about ten minutes early, at 5:50pm, and rushed back to dana house for our special house dinner. Instead of having some house members cook tonight, we went out and had our last house dinner of the semester at Everett and Jones in Oakland. We ordered ribs, brisket, and sausages, along with sides of things like potato salad, yams, and beans.

When we got back to dana house, we had our house gift exchange. It was a secret santa type thing were we were all assigned another house member to buy a gift for that was $15 max. Many of us posted “wish lists” on the service we’re using online to organize the exchange.

I was assigned Wesley, and gave him one of the things on his wishlist: a long sleeve thermal. I received gift certificates from Will Wu. Thanks will. =)

After the exchange, many house members watched Iron man (a gift that both sean and abe received). For the rest of the night, the house was very quiet, as everyone went off to study for finals.
