I always have a hard time figuring out where to divide entries when doing international travel across timezones. I guess I spent this day traveling with two plane flights and one bus ride. The first plane flight was from SFO to Taiwan, and was 12 to 13 hours. We were able to all get seats next to teammates.

Chris and anna were in the aisle to my left, Robert and some others were a couple rows behind me, and I was next to Sang and Jessie.

Here are a couple random photographs of the airplane lavatory: photo one and photo two.

The food and drink on the plane was pretty good, but they were pretty ungenerous with the drinks. Every time they filled your cup you received about two or three gulps worth.

Since the plane ride was so long, there was plenty of time to sleep, walk around, and fellowship with other people on the team.

We had a 3 hour layover in Taiwan between flights. When we arrived, we gathered together, waited through some lines, and then went to a food court to eat. There was a subway and a starbucks in the food court. While we were eating, we also celebrated Eunice’s birthday with a slice of cake.

We did DTs together as a team at the gate before boarding the plane. Here’s a photograph of my ticket.

The second flight was from Taiwan to Phutnam Phen, Cambodia and was 3 to 4 hours. We were served a meal on this flight as well. Near the end of the flight the flight attendants handed out Cambodian arrival and departure cards for us to fill out. During this flight team members slept, played cards, solved rubik’s cubes, and sat around talking.

Once we arrived and passed through customs, we collected our check-in luggage and arranged them in numerical order to make sure everything made it.

We’re in Cambodia!
