Day In Disneyland March 23, 2006
Disneyland is a pretty cool place. Walking around in it all day is pretty tiring, but the fun makes it worth it. Early in the day, I went on space mountain with my brother and cousin. It was a lot faster than I remember it being when I last went as a young lad. Afterwards, I had a headache for the rest of the day.
There’s a huge building called “innoventions”, and we got to see the japanese robot asimo perform a few of his tricks. He can climb up and down stairs, dance, recognize faces, follow people, listen to instructions, and more. Too bad there’s an even more up to date one that can run now. We didn’t get to see that one.
In the same building, there was a machine that could supposedly take your picture and age you something like twenty or fifty years. We used it a couple times, and discovered that it was racist. All the caucasion people that used it had neat looking aged results, but if anyone selected “asian” as their race, the machine made them look like some sort of accident victim, or a monster or something. Here’s a snapshot of me as a smoker.
We also went on “it’s a small world”, a tour of the jungle, autopia cars, indiana jones, and probably a bunch of other stuff, but I can’t remember them all right now.
