Anna Visiting Davis October 5, 2005

I woke up early in the morning because I had a discussion session at 8am. When I arrived in the classroom, everyone was just waiting around. The TA never showed up, and I ended up waiting for around half an hour. After people started leaving, the rest of us joked that we were watching “natural selection.”
It was around this time I realized that I had forgotten my camera at home. Instead of having someone bring it to me, or riding all the way back to get it, I decided to hop on the bus for free and go home that way. It was the first time I’ve ever been on Unitrans, though I’ve seen the red buses during my whole life in Davis. It took 50 minutes, but it was fun.
After my calculus lecture today, I was feeling extremely sleepy. I rode over to where my stats lecture was going to be an hour early, and walked into the lecture that was already in progress. It was an easier math class, and I sat in the very back and tried to fall asleep. I don’t know why, but I only feel sleepy when I can’t sleep, and when I finally can I feel wide awake. Oh well. I usually always sit in the very front for all my lectures, so it was a very interesting experience being so far away from the professor. I could barely see what he was writing on the board.
Anna stealthily came back to davis from southern california to visit today. After stats class ended at 6, rachel and I went out and met with anna. We went to the silo and had some food before attending grace alive. Afterwards we rode around forever into the night.
Jim bought some barbie chapstick…
Welcome home anna! Have a fun few days before you head back.
