Today was the first practice of our 2005 mens tennis season. Joe and I were unsure about what would happen, since we hadn’t had our physicals, we didn’t know whether we’d be allowed to do anything. My mom called the place yesterday though, and somehow she scheduled an appointment for today. Its crazy how the earliest joseph can get his is in fifteen days, and I got one the next day. Wow.

I went into the doctors office at around 11:30. It was the fastest doctors visit i’ve ever had. I got weighed, eye checked, and then sat in the room for a few minutes, before the doctor came in. I got checked extremely quickly, and was out within minutes with everything signed and completed. Wow.

For the beginning of our season, Joseph and I decided to start the year off with a pinch of awesomeness. I went to practice with the weird arm things I found a few days ago, and Joseph tried spiking his hair straight up, like he did many times last year. I guess whatever gell I supplied him wasn’t strong enough, but at least it stuck up.

We basically got separated into returning players and people trying out. All the old players got to just sit around and play, while the other new people played matches for the few spots available to them. The season is really changing. Now all the end of the year sports are starting, and it brings back loads of memories. There’s always the soccer girls walking by towards the field in the beginning, and always the same ones walking back towards the parking lot near the end. Theres also a splashing from the pools, with the swimmers starting their practice too. Just yesterday and the days before, it was dark, gloomy, and wet, and suddenly it cleared up and started being windy. What a massive transition into tennis mode.

American idol is on. Interesting show. I just crushed my brother at indoor basketball an hour ago. I beat him both at free throws and at three pointers. We keep breaking the hoops we stick on the doors, so with our third hoop now, we have three soft indoor balls to shoot with.
