Fake Cell Phone January 6, 2005
Everyone knows that at our school, the cell phone policy is very strict. If a teacher sees it, they’re told to take it away. First violation is having it taken away and having to claim it in the office after school. Second violation, they do the same but your parent has to come and claim it for you. Finally a third time, they say they’ll hold your cell phone until the end of the year, which seems kinda dumb, but I don’t know if they’ve actually done it.
Thus, these were perfect settings for joke pictures to be taken. Joseph gave anna a toy cell phone for christmas, and they decided to pull a prank using it during free time at school, either during the short break we have, or lunch. Anna actually brought it today, so Joseph set out on his mission.
When we walked to the quad, where we usually seen a ton of yard narcs, there wasn’t a single one to be found. They always seem to exist when you don’t want them to, and disappear when you’re actually looking for them. We decided to walk towards the office, where yard narcs are spawned.
When we got there, we see the vice principal walk out and start walking away. We got joseph to slightly run after him talking on the toy cell, but he couldn’t catch up, so we abandoned that opportunity. We suddenly noticed the principal himself sitting in his room, with class walls, so Joseph takes his cell and walks back and forth right in front of the principal, and even stops a few times to enjoy the “conversation”. Sadly, the principal either doesn’t notice, or decides to not pay attention to the freak outside.
Break was then wrapping up, and we were kinda sad that we didn’t get any good moments. As we were walking away, I noticed another yard narc, perfectly just standing there writing on a clipboard or something. Joseph walked past her a few times, and kept trying to have her see him, but she never did, so we all just split and walked to class.
At lunch, we made another attempt. We walked around desperately trying to find anyone with the power to pin us to the wall, but came up empty handed again. Finally I told joseph to go into the heart of narc territory, so he pulled out the cell and we walked into the office. I saw a narc walk out of one room into another so I quickly positioned myself on the other side of the hallway, and joseph stood outside the room she was in forever, just with the phone to his ear, but she never came out, so we moved on.
Our great opportunity finally came, when we saw the principal walk out of his office. He walked out the other way, so we thought it was a wasted opportunity, but when we sadly left the office, we saw him just standing there right outside. Joseph went and stood right in front of him with the phone to his ear talking, and the principal started staring at joseph. For the longest time joe just stood there with the principal staring at him, and finally he closed the phone and started walking away, before the principal called out to him and told him to come.
He said something about letting joe off easy this one time, but then joseph showed him the phone and pressed a button, making the phone produce these weird sounding toy beeps. The principal said something like, “I’ll remember you young man”, and joseph walked away a free man.
Mission accomplished. We need more interesting things to do.
