Youth group tonight was a youth led counselor appreciation night (CAN). Thus, staff meeting was a bit different this morning since we didn't have anything to prepare for. We met at Emmanuel's house and had a time of sharing and prayer, before going to the great wall of china buffet downtown for lunch. We also had dinner together at 6:30.

The youth-led meeting went pretty smoothly. We had a skit, games, sharing, and shirts. The shirts presented to each of the staff were designed by Elizabeth, and had each member of the staff on the front.

Serving in youth group has been extremely rewarding since I started this past summer, and I'm excited about all the different things God is doing amongst us in Rhythm.

The last photograph has an humorous story behind it. Basically Joyce accidentally released one of the helium-filled balloons that were used for decoration. It floated to the top of the sanctuary, which is actually pretty high up.

We had to bring it down, since there's sunday service tomorrow. I decided to try and pop the balloon by piercing it with a mechanical pencil. My ninja technique was great. The only problem was my accuracy. A foot was the difference between a problem solved and a mechanical pencil stuck in the ceiling.
