Round The Block

Random photos today. In the evening my brother and I went running for the first time around the block. It took us about 15 minutes, and we discovered using Google maps afterwards that the distance we covered was 1.6 miles. When we reached the last half block, we decided to sprint for home and raced each other there.
Was reminded of why I hate(d) running by the time I reached the end, and felt like throwing up and passing out. I started getting a bit dizzy and had to lie down for a while.
The last time I felt so sick from running was when I participated in conditioning for the basketball team tryouts in high school. We essentially raced a mile, and I nearly passed out as a result. I didn't return to tryouts after that.
