Prestudy was at joe's house this morning. Emmanuel and joyce couldn't make it to youth group tonight, so we had a meeting that was completely staff-led and organized. It was also the first time in about five years that I've played on the worship team. We practiced for a couple hours beforehand, and things came together.
For the first 30-45 minutes, we couldn't get the sound system working, and everything was pretty hectic. We finally got in touch with emman and got the system working. Praise God!
Joe gave a lesson tonight on family tensions.
The game was organized by joe and yingnan, and was a missile defense game where each side tried to throw paper airplanes through a hoop on the other team's territory, while defenders tried to shoot down the airplanes with nerf guns. Both throwing the airplanes through the hoop and shooting down the airplanes in midair were harder than expected.
