Joe and I wanted a change of scenery, since we've been spending most of our evenings in our little one-room studio, so we decided to go study at Barnes & Nobles (which we originally thought was a Borders) in Emeryville. We studied for a couple hours there before deciding to pack up and eat. Fuddruckers is in the same complex.
However, joe wasn't very hungry yet, so we decided to check out some of the stores first. While walking down the street, we first ran into kate, a college peer, and then mary ann, who lives in the area. Tis a small world.
After joe bought some stuff for Christmas, we went and had gigantic burgers at Fuddruckers. Joe almost finished his, but I focused on the fries we split first and only finished half of mine. It'll have to wait until lunch tomorrow.
Wrapping up my studying for my oral exam friday.
If I ever have a store, I'm never going to put a lenticular print in my windows. As you can see from a couple examples I shot today, they do not always look too great when viewed at an incorrect angle.
Oh, I almost forgot had jessica w. not reminded me. Today is the fifth year anniversary of this photoblog. I have five years of my life semi-documented here now. I'll have to wait until later to update this post with stats from this past year, since my external hard drive is at home.
Update on Dec 22, 09: Realized that I don't post stats from the past year on anniversary posts, but rather on new years eve posts. I'll just wait then.
