Jane was dropped off at my place at 2pm, and we started driving towards Berkeley to attend Jon and Carol's wedding. We arrived and parked the car just in time at 4pm (when the wedding was scheduled to start), but I then discovered that I had forgotten my shoes and tie at home. Not a smart move.

Rather than go to the wedding in flip flops or wearing only dress socks, I ran three or four blocks to dana house, and luckily there were some younger brothers there. One of the first guys I ran into when I sprinted upstairs was Brian J., and he graciously let me borrow his dress shoes and a tie.

I then sprinted back over to the church on bancroft, and arrived just in time, right before the ceremony began.

Wheew. I need to double check things next time.

The reception afterwards was at the HS Lordships restaurant over at the Berkeley Marina. There was videos, songs, dances, good food, and a lot of fun fellowship.
