After waking up this morning, my brother told me that dad had just been to the emergency room. He was stringing my tennis racquet, when he accidentally yanked the sharp plyers too hard and stabbed himself in the right eye. Luckily, the injury was located in the white of his eye, though it was pretty serious.

The doctor gave him some topical medication, and he's going to see an eye doctor on monday. Praise God that his vision was spared. A half centimeter in a different direction and the rest of his life would be drastically different.

Now our prayer is that everything heals quickly and properly, without any complications. He was operating normally the rest of the day.
