Actually got a lot of work done today. I was planning to work a lot on my statement of purpose, but instead did a lot of work on my resume. Right now it looks like my three letters of recommendation are going to be two computer science lecturers that I've had, and my photography teacher from last semester.

I was pretty sore today from yesterdays 50 pushups during tennis. I guess I haven't really done pushups or benched for a really long time. I used to go three or four times a week back when I was still at UCD.

At 8pm I went to community park to play tennis with pastor mondy. We ended up playing just a single set. I ended up winning 7-6 after a tiebreaker. At 5-5 in the tiebreaker, we had a ridiculously long point that involved just about every kind of shot imaginable, but I eventually won it after he hit a backhand out of bounds.

I feel like I'm going through a tennis slump right now, after improving a good amount through the beginning of summer. My game doesn't feel smooth, and for some reason the racquet feels heavy and doesn't connect with the ball as solidly as it was before. Maybe it's all mental. I think I tend to do better around Grand Slams, when I can see the tennis greats play on TV and become inspired.
