Saw a lot of old faces at church this morning. Sat next to felix (old youth group leader) again for the second time this summer. Anna's back from Sri Lanka. Finally, while I was getting some more rice for the curry (twas kinda salty), I ran into Jonathan Ng, who I grew up with in this church along with joseph.
After high school, I kinda lost touch with Jon and hadn't seen him for perhaps years before today. We've only seen each other a few times since high school. I found out today he started a restaurant in downtown sacramento a while ago with some partners and recently closed it, and will be going to culinary school soon.
In the afternoon, my brother was thinking about watching the new batman movie, The Dark Knight, with some friends. I thought about going too, so I went to the theater at around 2 to hopefully buy tickets for the 3:30 showing. When I got there, there was already a huge line of ticket holders waiting to enter for the 3:30 showing. Even though there were still tickets available, I didn't think it would be worth it to watch today but risk being split up or getting a bad seat. I predict the movie will do astronomically well financially.
At 8pm this evening I went and played tennis with Pastor Mondy. The score after two sets was 6-1 6-3.
