Cambodia Training

At 9am, I drove to the Yolo County Superior Courthouse in woodland for jury duty. I brought along my cambodia flight itinerary to be excused. The jury pool had to sit around in a courtroom for about two hours until we were called into a room with a judge, who talked to us and asked if we needed to be excused.
The lady before me said she needed to go pick up her daughter from school, and was denied. The person after me told the judge he was bipolar and couldn't focus properly, and his excuse was granted. Mine was granted as well, so I was able to leave a little before noon.
I didn't know we had to publicly tell the judge our excuses in front of the whole jury pool.
The trial was a criminal trial that was expected to take three days.
At 3 in the afternoon, I left for alameda and our first cambodia training session. I arrived at 4 something, and hung around northloop until the meeting. Played a couple games of basketball with Sang, Tim Choi, and some other people who were there.
At 6:30, we had a burrito dinner with the thailand team, and then started our training at 7 something. It started out with a bible study, and then we worked on various things and split into groups to work on specific grades until 10pm, when we combined again with the thailand team to practice 12 joyland songs and the motions.
At 11:10, I left and drove back to davis.
