I woke up for the first time this morning to my alarm clock at 7:50. My dad came in and said I should sleep more. I fell asleep, and woke up again at 10. "Shoot!", I thought, "there's no way I can make it back to Berkeley and to church service now..." I quickly packed up all my stuff and started driving back.

Before getting on the freeway, I had to first stop and gas up. When I exited the freeway into Berkeley, I had about fifteen or twenty minutes to go. I called Henry and asked about parking near Willard. I ended up parking at Dwight, and running straight from the parking lot to willard without changing or getting ready for church. I made it to service and joined dustin and sean with a few minutes to spare. I don't think there was a wasted minute anytime from 10 to church service, so it was pretty clutch.

After service, we went to eat ja jian mien, and celebrated Roy's birthday with a cake. Happy birthday roy!

When I got back to berkeley, I studied in my apartment for a couple hours before some of us went to study. We checked out main stacks first, but there wasn't any table with enough chairs for us, so we went to the East Asian Library. It was my first time there since it opened, and I found it to be pretty amazingly nice inside.

We studied there until closing time at 8pm. Joseph was sleeping, and Sean proposed that we prank him by leaving him sleeping alone in the library past closing time. The library staff came by a couple times announcing that the library was closing, but luckily it wasn't enough to wake joseph up. However, when we were halfway packed, joseph suddenly woke up and stared at us. I thought it was over and that the prank had failed, but sean faked a yawn and pretended to put his head down for a nap, and the rest of us did likewise. Joseph stared at us for a significant amount of time, and then went back to sleep.

Finally when the library closed, we grabbed all our stuff and hurried out into the pathway along the side of the library from which we could look in and see joseph. A had to go wake him up when he saw Joseph sleeping at the table. Dustin called him from outside (while we were trying to hide behind the cover of tall grass), asking Joseph where he was and why he didn't leave with us.

We all got a pretty good laugh out of this whole thing.

From there, we went to eat dinner on northside (la vals and la burrita) and then studied in the Wozniak lounge in soda hall. We studied there until 12, before packing up and going home.
