Spent the day in davis today, and mostly studied for my algorithms midterm on monday. I'm going to be away from davis two weeks again after today to help with the third Springfest next saturday. In the morning, I received my first jury summons ever. It was for 5/5, but I went online and postponed it to 6/2...

My dad tells me that every time he gets summoned, the day before he finds out he's dismissed. I didn't want to take that chance though. 5/5 would have meant going to woodland for jury duty on a school week monday from berkeley. The notice didn't say anything about being excused for being away... Hmm...

Not much else to say for today. My brother went to picnic day this afternoon, but the friend he was supposed to meet there never showed up, so my dad went and got him after an hour or so.

My test on monday is going to be intense. The first midterm we had, the professor assigned two problems that he could even solve. The GSIs told us that this time, they spent 5 hours going over the test the professor came up with in order to make it doable. That's definitely not a good sign.
