Film is taking a toll on how prolific I am with digital photography. I spent from 2pm to 9pm in the photo lab today, printing out 10 or so prints for thursdays final review. We're editing the final pieces that we're submitting for the book, exhibition, and website. I switched from using Epson paper to Ilford pearl paper.

Even though the Ilford paper is supposedly better, and is more expensive, I found that I work much better with the cheap, glossy epson paper on the epson printers. Even with the correct ICC profiles, I can't get the printers to work correctly unless I intentionally do drastic things to the digital image to compensate for the saturation and darkening that the printer does.

When I got out of the lab, I met up with the guys while they were eating at Toast (or T Toast), and then studied with them until about midnight. We checked out main stacks first, but it was full.

We then found out that Anthony was in TPR, so he opened the doors for us, since the doors lock at 9:30.

I have some film photos from today as well. I'll link back to this entry in the future when I post them.
