Drove back to berkeley in the morning with joseph. After church, I went and studied at main stacks for a couple hours until sean left to catch a ride to alameda. I got a ride to alameda with Steve Lee, and helped out there until 10:30, at which time I went back to Berkeley with sang, jasper, john, and chris.

Sean arranged a ride for me as we walked back to dwight from main stacks. He told me steve was going to pick me up, and I interpreted it as Steve Choi. He gave me Steve's number, and I saved it in my phonebook as "Steve Choi". I talked to Steve a couple times on the phone and made sure he was coming to pick me up.

Finally, I went outside when he called, and saw a white car with some gracepoint guys sitting in it, none of which were steve choi. The driver, whose name I wasn't remembering, waved at me to join them, but I told him that Steve Choi was coming to pick me up. He was confused, but after a lot of convincing, drove off, leaving me to wait for my ride with steve choi.

After a short while, he drove back with his passengers and told me that he was my ride. He said he had called steve choi, and learned that steve choi didn't even have a car. When I asked him to remind me of his name, it was "Steve Lee".

Oh man.

The whole miscommunication was because I had misinterpreted the first Steve as Steve Choi, even after talking with Steve Lee twice on the phone.

I shot film for the first time today. I brought along both expired Kodak rolls my family had in our fridge along for most of the day, and ended up shooting only about five or six shots. It's "full frame" with no crop factor (since it's film), so my existing canon lenses are much different when used on it. My 16-35 truly becomes an "ultra-wide" lens on the rebel. It's pretty disorienting, but the effect is amazing.
