When I got home early this morning, there was a large box on my desk. It turned out to be the 750GB external hard drive I ordered so I could take the 400GB one my photos are currently on to Berkeley, leaving the new one for my family. In the morning my dad walked in with another packaged that arrived.

That one turned out to be the six rolls of film and two 2CR5 batteries that I ordered from Adorama for the film Rebel I bought a few days ago.

When I talked to my dad a little about the film, he realized that he might still have some old film in our fridge. Sure enough, hidden in one of the top sections of the door were two rolls of Kodak film. It expired in 2005, so they might not work very well.

As we took those rolls out, my dad noticed another black canister in the compartment, and told me that it was a roll of film from a long time ago that he never had developed. It turned out to be a roll Kodachrome slide flim that he exposed almost twenty years ago during the Tiananmen square protests.

I was pretty shocked, to say the least.

I called up Longs, found out that they could develop the film for a couple dollars, drove over, and dropped it off. I'm hoping that at least something will turn up in the film, since it has been refrigerated for the past twenty or so years. I'm crossing my fingers.

In the morning, I also looked into my wallet and pulled out a business card that my photography teacher had given me a few weeks ago. I'm leading the web design team for our documentary photography class, and she gave me the business card of the person I need to meet with to get a website set up on the school server.

Looking at the card, it suddenly dawned on me today that it was Steve Suh's business card... I can't believe I never realized it was him, after seeing him so many times in and around Wurster hall. Maybe it was the name "Stephen" that threw me off.

There were two final four basketball games today, and the team I was cheering for (UCLA) lost. The final is on monday, and will be between kansas and memphis.

In the evening, I won an auction on ebay for 25 rolls of 100 speed 24 exposure fujifilm film. If you're in berkeley and you'd like to split some $.60/roll film with me, let me know.

Dropped my brother off at youth group in the evening, and did some homework and course 101 while he was gone.
