Our Cousin Joe

My mom left for china today, and will be back the middle of next month. After taking her to the airport, my dad went and picked up my cousin joe from burlingame to spend a couple days with us in davis. My brother and joe hung out for the rest of the day. I spent most of the day working on homework.
Spring break isn't even over yet, but I can already feel the pressure of the assignments my professors assigned before spring break even started. I have a big project due on the 7th, and a pretty difficult problem set due on the 4th.
I tried doing some astrophotography tonight. They didn't turn out too well. I was using f/5.6 and exposure times of 10 minutes and 30 minutes. I think either there's too much light pollution where I am, or I need to tweak the settings a little bit.
The shutter release thing that I bought on ebay for 8 dollars really comes in handy. It lets you set the shutter (bulb mode) and leave it indefinitely (or as long as your battery lasts).
