Gracepoint Easter

Today was a special easter service at gracepoint. After service there was a barbeque, where we were divided into groups by month for activities like trivia, singing and rapping competitions, and physical competitions. In the end, the hand eye coordination activity was cut out since we were running out of time.
From the barbeque, the juniors met in a parking lot west of church and left for our junior discipleship retreat at sierra lodge. Our caravan consisted of four cars. The lead car was named "Jedi Master", another was named "Speedracer", and ours was named "Powerpuff Boys".
After we arrived in the evening, we got settled down, and then ate dinner together. There's about 60 juniors at the retreat, so sierra house is pretty packed. Once we were full, we went on a hike up the hill to a place where we could get a clear view of the sky. The hill was quite steep, and the snow soft, so climbing wasn't very easy. Most people got a lot of snow in their shoes.
At the top, we spent a long time singing worship songs, looking for shooting stars (I saw quite a few), and staring in awe at the vastness of space.
For the rest of the evening, we had some more group activities (like human bingo and a king kong shower battle between koinonia and a2f), and then separated into the two wings for the night.
