Sun Peeking Out

It rained for most of the day today, but started getting nicer around evening. When I got out of my three hour long photography class from 2-5, where was a mix of sun and dark clouds. At lunchtime, I ran into Justin, who was meeting Joseph for lunch. I tagged along while they ate tacos from the taco truck.
In the evening, I stayed home the whole night to work on my algorithm problem set due tomorrow. It's much harder than I expected it would be, and I didn't finish by the end of the day. It's due at 5pm tomorrow evening, and I'm hoping for some miracle insights.
Devotion time notes:
Acts 20
Something I thought about when reading about Eutychus was how his story could be interpreted as an allegory regarding the spiritual walk of a young person. Eutychus was a young man, likely brought up in a Christian household. However, he falls into a deep sleep while having the word of God freely available to him, and in this deep sleep falls three stories to his death.
Remember the height from which you have fallen!
Revelation 2:5
This could be analogous to a young person slipping into a spiritual slumber and falling away from God. However, Paul does not leave him for dead, but immediately runs down, throws himself upon the boy, wraps his arms around him, and raises him back to life.
In the same way, spiritual leaders come to our rescue when they see us falling into a spiritual slumber and away from the Word. God does not leave us in a state of spiritual death, but offered himself completely and wrapped his arms tenderly around us, raising us back to life.
I think this passage gives us an awesome glimpse into the loving nature of God, for what Paul does here is a reflection of the love of God that is within him. The appreciation the young man must have felt for what Paul did for him is only a fragment of the infinite appreciation we should feel towards God for what he did for all of us.
