This morning we went to a Christian conference for morning service, since our family is currently "on vacation" in the Bay Area. It's a conference that many people from our home church are attending. Though everything was in Mandarin and harder for me to understand thoroughly, I thought it was fruitful.

Afterwards, our family drove to San Francisco and spent the day on the beaches at the edge of San Francisco Bay. On the way there, we got into a minor fender bender. Though the impact felt like it had done significant damage to our car, after stepping out we were amazed that it wasn't nearly as bad as we had thought. Praise God.

We spent nearly the whole day there, and returned to my Aunt's place in Burlingame in the evening after the sun had gone down. Tomorrow we're making a day trip down to Monterey.
