We spent the day studying at north loop today, starting from about noon. Henry came by and gave us a ride there. In the evening we went to henry's house for dinner, and then returned to north loop for our church 101 meeting. It was moved to today because tomorrow is the church's thanksgiving celebration.

Zechariah 5

We cannot use outward service towards God as a coverup for sinfulness and evil. As 1 Peter 2:15-16 says,

For it is God's will that by doing good you should silence the ignorant talk of foolish men. Live as free men, but do not use your freedom as a cover-up for evil; live as servants of God.

Though God does want our service, he desires our true devotion and commitment to following his laws for our lives in regards to sin.
