I went to service at my home church today, and listened to a really good message by Bob Jennings titled "In the Name of Jesus". In the evening, our family celebrated my Mom's birthday. Her "actual" birthday is in October, but we've always celebrated it on the chinese calendar date in November...

The chinese calendar date of her birthday was yesterday, but I arrived home too late, and my brother was at youth group, so we couldn't celebrate it then.

We had lasagna for dinner, then had (cheese)cake. I don't know why, but it has become semi-traditional for our family to eat cheesecake on birthdays rather than other types of cake.

I got some discrete math work done today, and worked on my testimony for church.
