Koinonia Potluck

I was able to finish up some computer science work during the day today. In the evening our homegroup got together and cooked a couple dishes for the Koinonia potluck tonight. At 7 we went over to the North Loop building in alameda, where all the other homegroups also brought the dishes they made.
The potluck featured some really good food... Since there was so many people, it was difficult getting any food, but eventually everyone was fed.
For Bible study, we read a short excerpt from the Joshua Harris book "I Kissed Dating Goodbye", and talked about dating. The chapter we studied was Genesis 24, and the story of Isaac marrying Rebekah.
After bible study, we split up by classes and worked on the singing and dancing we'll be doing for the thanksgiving celebration event.
