At 10:30 this morning, Joseph and I went to Richard and Laura's wedding. While I took some pictures during the service, I was wondering why I couldn't see anyone else doing the same. Near the end, when I glanced at the program, I realized that it asked people not to take photographs during the service...

I felt pretty bad and foolish for taking pictures. Jim and some others informed me afterwards that pictures generally aren't allowed because the flashes and picture taking can be distracting and rude.

The reception afterwards was great, and the food delicious. Richard and Laura were really busy, going around from table to table talking to their guests.

This is pretty much the first wedding I've been to. All the other weddings I've been to I can't remember because I was too young and my brain not developed enough to remember them.
