Last night or this morning, joseph was sleeping in the living room while sean and I were talking. I was using the light in the room as a searchlight to look for a mosquito I saw flying around. Suddenly Sean got some paper and started trying to figure out what the batman sign looked like when projected in the sky.

We made the shape out of some paper we had, and put it over the searchlight, projecting the batman logo on the ceiling. Then we woke joseph up while saying "Gotham needs your help!", and pointing to the ceiling.

Awesome, huh?

Classes went pretty well today... However, my ethnic studies lecture today made me shift more towards wanting to drop the class in favor of something else. I feel like the class is worthless, and that ethnic studies isn't worth studying.

We had dinner at unit 3.

Koinonia's welcome night was tonight in Barrows at 7:30. There was free boba before it started. The media, skits, worship, and message were all very good. We even heard about a guy who gave their life to Christ at the welcome night afterwards.

Immediately after the welcome night, we had a brain bowl trivia game, where we divided into groups had had to work on a packet of random trivia. Twas pretty fun.

12:45pm - I'm sitting right now in the self-paced CS center, printing out some stuff and maybe working on some other work. This is my first time logging onto the internet on campus. Interesting.

Devotion time:

1 Samuel 25

What about Nabal’s folly or his personality do I need to particularly guard against?

Nabal repays people evil for good. I need to remember not to take the things people do for me for granted.

What would have happened if the servant and Abigail failed to take any action?

They would have been slaughtered, and there would have been blood on David's hands.

What lessons can I learn from the servant and Abigail?

Be active in righting wrongs, even if they might not be directly caused by you.

Why was David frustrated? What did David decide to do in response to his frustration?

He was frustrated because he was being paid evil for the good he did Nabal. He decided to avenge himself against the perceived wrongdoing.
