This is a weird title/category combination. The main thing I did today was teach tennis at Dale's summer camp from 9-12. However, in the afternoon my brother asked me to make him something to eat. Instead of finding normal food for him, I decided to use my creativity. After all, we just watched Ratatouille.

Since we don't have any fancy ingredients in the kitchen and I don't have any cooking skills (yet), I decided to make something that looked nice without thinking about how it might taste.

I took a piece of bread and cut it into four bite sized squares. Then I melted a lopsided X shaped cheese on each square, making them identical to each other. For decoration, I put tomato slices, corn kernels, watermelon bits, and tuna pieces on each slice, and decorated the plate with drops of mayo, jelly, ketchup, and honey mustard.

On the perimeter I placed lemon and watermelon peels.

After heating the whole thing, I presented the snack to my brother. He was expecting something really filling and delicious, since I spent a lot of time in the kitchen telling him to stay away (to keep the creation a secret). When his eyes saw the colorful dish, his reaction was something like "What on earth?".

At first he refused to eat it, but finally he gave it a taste and informed me that it was actually pretty good. I ate one of the four pieces and discovered that it tasted like a miniature sandwich bite.

I think I'm destined to be a haute cuisine chef.
