My brother attended the 2007 Sacramento Chess Championships today at 8:40 am. The tournament started at 9:30 at the Best Western Inn. He won the first two, and drew the second two games. I didn't go with them, but instead stayed home to work and relax. His tournament continues and concludes tomorrow.

Sitting at a board for five hours is an impressive display of patience.

The last few pictures were taken into a mirror at the end of the day when I realized I hadn't taken any pictures. That's been happening a lot these days.
