My brother and I drove to Woodland and ate at King's buffet for lunch today. It's one of our favorite buffets due to their relatively large selection of things to eat. After we were done, we reparked the car closer to the mall entrance and went into Target looking for a yo-yo. For some strange reason, Target had none.

On our way out of the mall, there was a row of gumball and candy machines in the middle of the walkway. My brother walked over to one of the machines and twisted the handle. To our amazement, there was suddenly two clunking sounds. When he opened the little door, two of the large sour candy balls fell out.

Hah.

It was amazing luck that he randomly decided to twist exactly the right machine. Maybe someone put in a quarter and got distracted before twisting the handle...

On the way back home, we stopped at Big 5 and looked for yo-yos there. They had a few expensive ones, but the expensive ones had an auto-return feature that made the yo-yo come back to you. My brother wanted a yo-yo without "training wheels", so we got a $3 Duncan fixed axle yo-yo.

It has been extremely hot these days.
