Today was my final day of instruction at UC Davis. Between my two classes I finished up my math homework and tried to study a little. In philosophy we discussed a few paradoxes, including Zeno's paradox. Afterwards I went to the silo store to buy some blue books and ran into Ross on the way there.
We both purchase our blue books, and he purchased a UCD t-shirt for a friend back in iran. On the way to the kemper basements, I took a couple photos of a puddle and the bright and colorful bike path. UC Davis has a really nice campus. I guess I take it for granted mostly because I haven't really looked at any other campuses.
The only college campuses I've been to are Berkeley and Sac State (when I took a summer school program there once [when I was a young lad
We ate lunch in Kempers lobby (photographed in this entry), then went our different ways. Amrinder and Roozbeh went to class, while I went down to the basements to work and study.
I studied a lot of philosophy tonight.
Currently, I'm going into finals week pretty comfortably in engineering 17 and economics. I scored well on all my midterms in those classes. However, I'm not as confident about philosophy or differential equations. I didn't get an A on my first math test, and I got an A- on my first philosophy paper.
I don't find out the grade to for second philosophy paper until next week, and the final exam in that class is 50% of our grade. In math, I did much better on the second exam, but need to perform well on the final to capture that A.
Here is my second philosophy paper.
