A Special Sunday

Today was a pretty normal day until evening service. Richard and Laura announced then that they are now engaged and will be married on September 8th. Wow. For the rest of evening service I had a big grin on my face. Immediately after evening service I rushed home to pick fruit with my family.
We drove to some place north of davis to pick strawberries and apricots. I've gone in years past, but when we went today there wasn't really any strawberries left for me to pick. Last week when my mom, dad, and brother went, they picked three large buckets full. Today we ended up with one bucket of strawberries... We also went and picked a bucket of apricots.
When I got home, I talked to joseph on the phone and he told me he was going to baker's square, where a lot of grace alive people were celebrating a few recent birthdays. I knew jim was there already, but I didn't think I'd go tonight. After hearing that joseph was on his way, I asked him to swing by and pick me up.
We sat and talked a little with the people there, including richard and laura. Joseph and I didn't order anything to eat. We just drank some water...
From there, some of us went over to josephs place and just hung out. Grace taught us how to play "Down by the river", or whatever that hand slapping game is called.
Congratulations Richard and Laura!
