Brother In Field

My brother and I went into the field today for some more jumping photographs, but we soon discovered that we couldn't see the blinking red timer light under the bright conditions. He played around with a makeshift slingshot, and then rolled a stone wheel that we found to a dirt hill. Once there, he stole my shoe.
Actually, he stole my sandal. After waving it around a bit, my brother decided to be foolish and toss it up into the branches of a tree, expecting that it would come back down (but give me a scare). However, the sandal got caught between some branches.
As any genius child would do, my brother instinctively took off his own shoe and attempted to rescue my stranded sandal with it. In a couple throws, it too was trapped amidst the branches of the tree. In the end, I was hobbling around on one sandal while my brother was running around in his socks, looking for objects with which we could retrieve our three shoes (my brother lost both shoes to the tree).
Finally, we decided that chucking baseball-sized dirt clods at our shoes was the best option. It took quite a while, but eventually we regained possession of all three items. My brother's socks had dry grass poking out everywhere. We night need to throw them away.
