Bicycle Accident

I was riding home from campus this morning when I passed an intersection and noticed a lot of flashing lights to my right. I quickly did a U-turn, and went down the other road towards the firetrucks and ambulance. When I got there, I discovered that there had been an accident between a car and a bicyclist.
I'm assuming that the person lying on the stretcher being attended to was the bicyclist, and that the elderly man was the driver of the car.
I felt really sorry for the old man.
The front licence plate of the car was lying in the bike lane behind the car. I'm pretty sure the bicyclist wasn't too badly injured, because he was waving his arms around and signalling at the paramedics treating him. I guess the rush to the hospital was a precautionary thing to make sure he wasn't internally injured or something. They rushed me to the hospital in an ambulance after my car accident a few years ago, but I was trying to refuse. The only reason they did it was because they were required to after not being able to reach my parents.
My second wave of midterms began today with an economics exam at 6:10 pm. It was the first time this school year I waited till the day before to study for a test. I started studying a little last night, and then studied full speed throughout the whole day today before taking the test at night.
I think it went very well. Normally, if I take multiple days to study for something, I find that some of the things I take in fade away during the hours I spend sleeping at nights. When I studied a whole day and then took the test today, I felt like the material was fresh on my mind.
Now I need to scrub my mind clean and start filling it with good ol' circuits again.
My brother wanted to go to "Celebrate Davis" tonight, but no one was available to take him. I had to study for my circuits test next tuesday and work on a math homework that my professor assigned to be due the same week as my midterm (next friday). Next week is going to be pretty hectic.
When the celebrate davis fireworks started at 9, we could hear them from our house. My brother and I rushed into the field behind our house and tried to watch the fireworks from there. From the field, we realized that the fireworks were pretty far away, and that the sound from each explosion took about 5-10 seconds to reach us. It was a pretty weird sight.
We watched the un-synchronized fireworks for a while before going in.
My brother is doing a flour baby for school. I remember doing flour babies when I was in sixth grade. A bully classmate of mine babynapped my flour baby while I was working on the computer and placed it in the child protection center crib. I had to stay in during recess and explain to my teacher why I wasn't keeping a careful eye on my flour baby.
Some of my brother's friends gave their flour babies body parts. When my brother was preparing his 5 pound bag of flour today, he wanted to take apart a doll and transfer the head and limbs to his flour baby. Instead of doing that, I took a stuffed bear and removed the stuffing. We put the deflated bear behind his bag of flour so he head looked like it was sticking out of the bag of flour. Voila.
