I had church and homework during the day, then at 9 I went to the ARC with ross to play basketball and work out in the weight room. We had a couple good games in basketball, but then the challenging team had three extremely tall players while we only had one. Two of their three were asian guys. Game over.
Afterwards we walked to the MAC to see if people were playing volleyball in there. A guy was sitting around, so we asked if he wanted to play. He checked out a ball, and we hit around for a while. Volleyball isn't much fun unless you have the right number of people (at least to me). We even played some two on one volleyball. That tired us out pretty quickly.
After lifting some weights, we left at about 11pm. Outside the ARC, we thought of some random photos for today's photoblog entry, since I didn't really have anything interesting to snap during the day.
Before I left for the ARC, I talked to my brother on the phone. They were at a dinner hosted by a family friend. I told my brother I was leaving for the ARC, and that I wouldn't be back before he had to go to sleep. He made me promise to wake him up after I got home so he could show me something...
When I got home at 11pm, my mom told me that my brother had asked her to wake him up too. She said he wanted to say goodnight to me.
When we woke him up, he was really sleepy and confused, unaware of his surroundings. Finally, when he regained a shard of consciousness, he reached under his pillow and pulled out a propellor toy. I guess it's the first time he's seen such a thing. He borrowed it from one of the kids at the house they were at, and agreed to return it next sunday at church. He wanted me to wake him up so he could show me the propellor thing. Haha.
We had one of those a long time ago, but I have no idea what happened to it. It's pretty fun to play with.
