At 10 something in the morning I went to the Whole Earth Festival at UCD to join Grace Alive in talking to strangers there about spiritual matters. When I got there, I ran into trevor and sarah. We discovered that it actually started at 11. Some of us believed that it started at 10, so we walked around for a while.
The theme of the Whole Earth Festival this year is "Arise, Smile, and Be the Change."
Grace Alive set up its table next to some falun dafa ladies, and we started going around and asking people if they're willing to participate in a "spiritual awareness" survey.
My first partner was Ben. We had a few good conversations with people about their background and what they believe. Afterwards, I partnered with Sarah and Ben went with Trevor.
We had a little less success in talking with people, but nevertheless had a couple good talks.
I went home at about 1:50, after taking some pictures of the festival.
In the photographs of people listening to a live band, it might look like the people are changing revolutionary slogans and pumping their fists or something.
However, it was actually some weird "ant" cry that the "professor" on stage told everyone to do at certain moments of his "ant" song. Basically the band had a singer who was dressed like a professor and singing a song about ants.
I walked past a couple that had two really, really small dogs. They resembled large rats on leashes.
Mr. Wagner also rode by on one of his crazy bike creations.
